In the Path of Exiles patch 3.16, Scourge, players will be given the opportunity to delve into an Alternate Wraeclast, where demons rampage and lay ruin to reality. The Blood Crucible may also need some changes to make its status more noticeable, so expect some sort of adjustment to be clearer when it's full. One issue that players cite was that the transformation bar on Scourged items wasn't visible enough and required a mouse over to check, so this will change. The team is keeping any eye on the rest of the performance data from the PC launch and is already noting that there are some balance changes and other fixes in progress.
Item linking was creating an issue with the server, causing crashes, so initially chat was disabled temporarily, then restored, but item linking was turned off until today.
With Scourge's release, there were some of the typical bumps along the way, and the Grinding Gear team had to disable item linking until a patch was released just today.
